  • The Indian Pharma industry has been growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 15% over the last five years. The industry has significant growth opportunities for pharmacy graduates.
  • Out of these, 1,400 units are World Health Organization (WHO) good manufacturing practice (GMP) approved; 1,105 have Europe’s certificate of suitability (CEPs); more than 950 match therapeutic goods administration (TGA) guidelines; and approximately 584 sites are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA).
  • India’s CRAM sector is globally recognized for its high-end research services and is one of the fastest-growing segments of the country’s pharmaceutical industry.
  • The country has a low cost of production,  low R&D  costs,  innovative scientific manpower, and a large number of national laboratories that have the potential to steer the industry ahead to a higher level.

Pharmacy graduates can ex­pect to get on the fast track in one of the most dynamic in­dustries in health care. Pharmacists enjoy a prestigious job in a field that increasingly relies upon their skills and exper­tise. Pharmacy graduates are offered many opportunities and learn a wide variety of things, but educating patients about their medication therapy is always the most impor­tant. The discipline of pharmacy has a good future, offering a wide range of employment opportunities with an excellent salary.

A doctor gives life to the patient but a pharmacist gives life to medicine, and that medicine ultimately gives life to the patient, that’s why pharmacy also a big opportunity for you.
